Three kinds of rain

Light rain, steady rain, and a thunderstorm or heavy rain. Swipe to switch; the sound and the picture change together. Storm Town has two levels: Breezy Rain and Full Storm.

Scenes

Rain Curtain, Countryside and Moon Pond are free. Storm Town and Harbor City unlock with a one-time purchase that also covers every scene added later.

Pull up for a timer

Hold the play button and pull up, up to two hours. When time is up, the rain fades out.

Keeps raining when locked

Playback continues when the phone is locked, and you can pause and see the time left from the Lock Screen. To play under music or podcasts, set “Other Apps’ Audio” to “Mix” under “More Settings” in the panel; Rainside then has no Lock Screen controls.

Day and night

Follows your system's light and dark appearance, or stays on one. Nights sound different too: crickets by the river, no birds in the woods.

Collects nothing

No account, no ads, no analytics. Nothing about you is collected. Purchases are handled by the App Store.
